 Being a Prefect or Head Student is an important job given to those students Fifth Year and above. These upper year students are model students for the younger years. They are expected to keep the rules in high regards and help any and all that need it. Note that if you are a Prefect you can not be on the Quidditch Team.

 Quidditch is regarded as the most popular sport in the Wizarding World. So naturally, Quidditch would be played at Hogwarts School. Students may join their House Quidditch team by signing up here. Note that if you are on the Quidditch Team, you can not be a prefect.

 The Hogwarts Student Government is comprised of House Elected Representatives that tend to the concerns and suggestions of the Hogwarts Student Body. It is these House Reps that bring to the attention of the Professors and Headmaster what is working for the majority of Hogwarts students and what is not working or is a concern for the majority of Hogwarts students.
