We Are All Wolves Howling To the Same Moon Tonight was the night. It was the night of the first full moon here at Hogwarts for Nataliah's seventh year. She was going to keep up the tradition of coming to the West Tower to view the Full Moon in all of its glory. Despite not being back home and able to take part in her family's pre-pack run that her family hosted every month just hours before their set transformation, just having the feel of the moonlight on her skin made her feel like she was with them in spirit. Having ditched her Slytherin robes and uniform for a long emerald green shirt and a pair of black skinny jeans, Taliah made her way up from Slytherin House. Stopping by the Kitchens to ask the castle elves for a couple containers of hot chocolate and graham crackers, Taliah made her way towards the West Tower. It was still fairly early in the evening. She watched as younger years scattered about the castle their friends among them talking about their classes, homework, and gossip that was going around in their year. The normal who was dating whom, the latest fashion fads, and of course Quidditch. None of which had really interested Nataliah. She did not care for who was hooking up with each other and the rumors that went along with them. In her opinion it should not even matter. The only ones who did were the people involved in the relationship. As for fashion fads, she would leave that subject up to her own grandmother who was keen on winning her granddaughter over with the highest fashion items she could find. As for Quidditch, Taliah really didn't have an opinion on the sport. She neither liked it nor disliked it. She was not keen on flying on a broom so she would never be one to play the sport, but she did attend the matches when her own house was playing. That was as far as her interest went in the sport. Reaching the seventh floor, Nataliah was not surprised to see random Ravenclaws and Gryffindors about. Keeping her eyes forward as she passed them, she was sure they were shock to see her. Keeping her hot chocolate containers and crackers close, she opened the door that gave entrance to the West Tower. Settling for going off to the left side of the tower into the spare room, Nataliah entered the room and went towards the window sill. Settling herself upon the ledge, she took a look over the vast grounds of Hogwarts. It felt good to be back within the castle. Her mother had been right in stating that Hogwarts would become her home away from home. Her grandparents home could never compare. Opening the first container of hot chocolate, Taliah watched as the steam rushed out into the night air. Taking a gentle sip of the hot liquid, Taliah sighed in pleasure. Turning her attention back to outside of the castle, she watched as the sun began to set the rising of the full moon started. Closing her eyes, she allowed herself to fully relax. In the back of her mind, she could hear the starting of howls from her family's pack as they began their night journey into the forest. Connected to one other by blood and by the moon. Soon, she too would possibly join them, but for now she remained a bystander admiring the allure of the full moon. tags: open outfit:emerald green shirt & black skinny jeans notes: tba |
